Welcome to Walka Miniature Railway

We run Train Rides at Walka Waterworks Reserve at Maitland NSW Australia. Cost is just $3.00 per person.
Running Times are each Sunday* from 11.00am to approx. 3.00 pm. Other time are available by arrangement.
*NEWS: Operations are also being run on Saturdays by some members to provide additional opportunities for the public and for testing of equipment.
* Subject to conditions.

ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR DUE TO OH&S REQUIREMENTS

Our track meanders alongside a beautiful lake and through native bushland for approx. 1.5 km each way.

The Society has three locomotives and two members have locomotives one of which is a steam engine. (See Our Trains page)

The track is 7.25″ gauge which is a standard commonly used for miniature trains in many countries.

Group Bookings are welcome for Weddings, Work Picnics, Xmas Picnics, School Groups and other Special Occasions.
